TRAINING

Our training courses are especially designed for the general practice environment and are based on the latest academic research but, more importantly, on extensive practical hands-on experience. We deliver to large groups such as partnerships, federations, groups of practices or to single practices. Our training modules utilise creative teaching techniques and challenge delegates to think differently about their jobs. We aim to equip attendees with a wide range of tools and skills to use in their daily tasks which ultimately make a difference to patient’s care, practice objectives and to staff motivation.

Our most popular topics include ‘Care Navigation at the front of the GP Practice’, ’Dealing with challenging patient situations at the GP Reception’, ‘’ Excellence in Call Handling for GP Front Line Staff’, ‘Dealing with aggression or (threat of) violence in the GP Practice’, ‘Chaperone Training’, ‘Medical Terminology & Abbreviations’ amongst many other topics.

MEDIATION

We also offer confidential, professional mediation services to General Practice and have a comprehensive brochure highlighting this service.

ROLEPLAYING

We also offer expert roleplaying services. Our body of actors have experience of the simulated patient component of medical examinations. We can provide a face-to-face, telephone or group role playing service to meet your needs. We have a range of highly skilled and trained role-players who will provide a realistic customer, patient, client experience for your organisation. Our role players pride themselves on getting it just right and will deliver a high quality experience to the most exacting specification.

KINDNESS

We are flexible in our approach and can even deliver some of our suitable sessions remotely to support your practice needs.  If you have a particular training need but can’t see it in our brochures please contact us as we have many supplementary topics ready for delivery.
